A Drunk Knight’s Guide to Finding Food in Orlando

Welcome to the ultimate drunk food guide of Central Florida, where the bars close at 2 a.m., but the drunken wanderers roam around like real life zombies until at least 4 a.m. We’ve all been there: you hit up Pub, GILT or iBar, you have one too many Tequila Sunrises or Long Islands, and find yourself truly disregarding your diet. What’s a drunk to do? Get some damn food is what. Sober your ass up by hitting up one of these spots.

5.) Del Taco:
That’s right. That place that’s open super late and gets robbed all the time. The fresher-tasting and slightly more expensive Taco Bell is within walking distance of Knight’s Library, your most recent regret. The mini bacon quesadillas will pump your alcohol-rich blood so good you’ll wonder why Del Taco isn’t your drunken go to.

12025 Collegiate Way,
Orlando, FL 32817
Open 24 hours.

4.) Lazy Moon:
A safe haven for the hipsters. It’s basically the after party of any night out where you’ll run into that guy you were grinding with on the dance floor. Except the lighting’s better, and damn you messed up. But don’t worry that fat slice of pizza there will help you forget your busted dance partner.

12269 University Blvd
Orlando, FL 32817

Hours:
Sunday – Thursday 11 a.m. – 12 a.m.
Friday – Saturday 11 a.m.- 2:30 a.m.

3.) Steak ’n Shake:
Steak ’n Shake what your mama gave ‘ya. Let’s face it: those cheese fries and that truly terrible service are staples of any really good night. The wait isn’t even a big deal because you’ll be entertained watching other overly intoxicated people around you. And you know there’s always drama there. If a story ends with a trip to Steak ’n Shake, ‘ya done did good. There are two near UCF and it’ll soften the blow of an expensive night out.

11700 University Blvd,
Orlando, FL 32817

And open 24 hours!

2.) McDonald’s on University:
It’s been rumored that UCF students have gone missing while waiting in the drive thru line, which, like the Bermuda Triangle, comes with several warnings. If it’s past 10, do NOT wait in that line. It’s the equivalent of stepping on the seal in the Student Union. You won’t make it out of UCF alive, or in this case out of McDonald’s, fed or in a timely manner. Instead, go inside or hit up the Wal-Mart McDonald’s. They got you.

12301 E Colonial Dr,
Orlando, FL 32826

Open 24 hours.

1.)  Gringos Locos Tacos:
It’s a damn life saver. If you’re drunk and downtown, you really have no choice but to hit them up. The giant burritos and queso will reawaken your soul and make you feel like you have a chance in life again.

2406 E.Robinson St.
Orlando, FL 32803

Mon-Sat 11 a.m.-3 a.m.
