If you’re a living, breathing human, you saw the world lose their shit over a picture of a dress. But seriously, the picture is fifty shades of freaky. How can a dress be two different sets of colors at one time? In reality it’s just an optical illusion showing how everyone’s eyes perceive light differently. But people don’t want to hear that!
So, it seems an appropriate reaction to the dress to throw yourself onto the floor of Dabney and roll around in agony about why you would even open such a thing. The next thing you should do is definitely share away. Send the picture to every group text, listserv, and FB group you can think of because obviously everyone else needs to experience the same emotional trauma that you just went through. There is literally nothing more important on your newsfeed right now then what color this dress is.
Not only should you spam this picture to everyone you’ve ever met, you should also elicit a discussion as to how you see it in comparison to how everyone else sees it. Because that’s interesting for everyone. If your post doesn’t have about 25 comments each one from someone explaining their personal interaction with the picture, then you’re not trying hard enough.
There is a lesson to be learned here. A dress is a dress is a dress. The only thing that matters is whether it looks good for your next date function. No one cares what color you see and it honestly doesn’t matter. If you’re the person posting the dress everywhere in the world; just stop. You’re making the world a worse place and everyone hates you by now. Now enjoy these pictures of similar optical illusions.
